The PhotoboothTO Story
It started in the summer of 2013 with one booth, one dream, and a whole lot of skepticism from everyone around us. "Photo booths are just a trend," they said. "It'll never last." We heard it all—from family, friends, and industry folks who thought experiential photo entertainment was a passing fad.
But we believed in something bigger. We believed in the ikigai—that sweet spot where passion, mission, profession, and vocation intersect. For us, that meant creating moments of genuine joy and connection at life's most important celebrations.

The early days weren't glamorous. We ran everything from Gaetano's parents' garage—loading equipment at 4 AM, troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and learning every lesson the hard way. But every challenge taught us something invaluable about resilience, quality, and putting the client first.
Built to Last
Success brought its own challenges. As we grew, so did the copycats and imitators. We faced trademark infringements, web attacks, and competitors trying to undercut what we'd built. But we chose to respond not with aggression, but with relentless innovation and unwavering quality.
Then came COVID-19. The events industry ground to a halt. While others folded, we pivoted—streamlining operations, investing in new technology, and emerging stronger than ever. We moved from that garage into a full warehouse facility, building an inventory that now includes 35+ different booth experiences.
Today, we're proud to be the preferred vendor for MLSE (home of the Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Toronto FC), and trusted by top agencies and brands across Toronto. We craft custom photo booth installations for INK Entertainment's portfolio of restaurants and nightclubs, including Toybox, REBEL, and Vinny Vinyl Bar.
